Yes.  This question was asked some time ago and (if I remember right) the upper limit is probably limited by the reactance of the dummy load resistors at the higher freqs.  I believe that Dave commented on this so his message is in the "conversation" list

Subject: [4sqrp] QRPometer on 6M

A fellow ham joined the QRPometer yahoo group to find answers to some questions. That group is not really a discussion group so I'm posting the question here.

Has anyone use the QRPometer on 6M? Yes, I know the spec says 160-10M.

The other question which I think I answered adequately was using the QRPo with PSK and/or Olivia modes. Anyone?

Please reply here.

...set the power output to 5 W on the W-a-L meter and measured 5.4 W on the QRPo.

I'd tend to believe the QRPo with its generally more accurate specs.

Rich,

Just cranked the FT-847 to lowest RF out on 6 meters. Measured about 2 Watts with the QRPo and about the same with my WM-2 work-a-like. Seems to be close enough for practical purposes.

If it hasn't already been mentioned (I haven't caught up fully on my e-mail) CafePress can do a lot of "customized" things on demand with customized graphics on them.  Plus, if I'm not mistaken, a portion of the sales is given back to the originating organization, so it might be a possible means to generate a little bit more funds for Ozarkcon!

Re: Wed Nite Nets

Wayne,

Although QNI to your early 40m assembly whenever possible, of late I've also tuned up for the second session but found the meeting point quiet.

I quite agree that a second 40m net one hour after the first is unnecessary.  Such would not be my opinion if there were a vigorous presence of Pacific Coast QNI's (a rather unlikely prospect I would think).

In the evening I enjoy 70 or so extra minutes of extra darkness that favors propagation of received signals.  (Conversely, I am penalized Thursday mornings when I attempt to QNI Terry's 40m efforts).

Wasn't that nice to have a moment of mutual 599s this evening!

Probably not going to offer the late net tonite. Until about march I think we're on a hiding to nothing. However, if there's a pressing need then e-mail me B4 net time and I'll call the late net. Your call...

Wed Nite 80M CW Net

WA0ITP

Nice turnout tonight, 9 checkins, thank you.  W2SH was the coldest tonight at 11F and W5RST was the warmest at 39.  N0YJ checked inj for Great Bend, KS  with a 124 ft wire stuck out of the window of the Comfort Inn to a tent stake in a wheat field, and he had a good signal, way to go Bert!  Thanks to all who made it in and to all who tried, I appreciate it.

Good evening all,
The QSB was brutal but we made a grand net. Thanks all. Some real surprises, Chas's signal came up from a mediocre 559 to an astonishing 599 and WB8YYY from difficult to very good. OK here's the runners and riders:
W5XE - Ray - TX - 319 - 750.7 Mi
WC7S - Dale _ WY - 599 - 600.9 Mi (must be that new antenna and the QSO Dope he applied)
W2SH - Chas - NJ - 599 - 1117.3 Mi your signal really came up, nice!
K9NRW - Barry - IL - 449 - 488.5 Mi Welcome aboard Barry, hope to hear you again on the net
WB8YYY - Curtis - MD - 569 - 983.2 Mi Welcome aboard Curtis, hope to hear you again on the net.

OK, you new guys, I hope I got the names correct, if not feel free to holla at me and put me straight.
Thanks again everyone and let's do it again next week.

It'll be a good experiment.  I'll wait a few seconds after I sent the final Dit Dit to see if you have any business. Everyone please wait for me to call CQ again before you respond to me. Johnny, if you hook one just send dit dit and I'll give you some time to go up.
Is that OK?
