I don't need another one, but I really have had fun with mine! Great kit. Slightly challenging to tune, but once you figure it out, it works great. Now I have to get to my Bayou Jumper. Haven't got it

Couldn't check in tonight. My hotspot let the magic smoke out. Not sure if it was the MMDVM board or the Pi Zero. They have the distinctive odor of dead electronics. 73, Chas - NK8O

FYI: The Hilltopper, with serial firmware and a USB-Serial cable not only read frequency out to your logging software, it can also key CW macro messages. I used the KX3 setting with mine and it worked

K0B ON 40 METERS
This evening netted only 9 contacts for K0B on 40 meters. There were plenty of RBN hits, with well over 100 reports and many of them > 10 dB S/N. There was even one beacon spot from EA8. But 40 meters

Well, I've spent enough time with the Ozark Patrol
Any takers, Peter? I would try to tackle it to give to a grandchild. If still available, email me off list NK8O at arrl dot net. I can send a check or send postage via PayPal. 73, Charles - NK8O

I hadn't given it a lot of thought, but provided we didn't have a huge crowd, I think we could possibly do this safely. Let me confer with my other infectious disease expert (XYL) and see what she say

Field Day Reports
I had my information on the Facebook Group, but not everyone reads Facebook. I was out for perhaps 2 1/2 hours, certainly no more. 5 watts, vertical, 20 meters only. Solar charging and battery power.
