everything fine again
The switching lay out for changing bands on the MRT5B had me totally messed up. I kept studying the manual on the switching. I guess I am not used to switches. Now I finally see it is actually simple.

Looking Fer Rig
After 36 years of collecting numbers, major contests and trying for DX, I have decided to go 100 % QRP. Have dabbled in it from time to time. I just want regular QSOs, maybe rag chew. I plan on doing

80/40 Antenna Help
Thanks Rick, I like your illustrations better than what I found from my Google search which was from ARRL's Low Power Communication book. Do not know which edition it was from. Thanks again. Jim, NV9X

80/40 Antenna Help
Many years ago, I had a 80/40 meter antenna, made from ladder line and fed directly with coax. I can not remember where to make the cuts on the 100 foot (I think) piece of ladder line. It worked well

Field Day Questions
Due to a lack of (like zero) QRP groups in Chicago area, I will be doing Field Day in my back yard. I have a car battery and I know it will last all 24 hours. However, at Hamvention, I picked up 3 SLA
