From NJ I have usually been the most "DX" QNI. But tonight it was a pleasure to cede that honor when I heard (with difficulty because at only 105 miles distant, he is almost within my skip zone) WB1GYZ, Bob, as a successful QNI to the 40m net. Of course we
are mutually well known, being longstanding members of the New England QRP Club (NEQRP) with our regular QNIs to its weekly CW net that meets on Thursdays at 2030 hours ET on 3.566 mHz.. 4SQRPers invited to QNI!
As for 80m, tonight there was a ragchew going on with one station on 3563.93 and the other on 3564.06 kHz. These guys neatly bracketed where I had hoped to hear the 4SQRP net, and with quiet band condx, take a stab at a QNI. I searched up and down and never
heard Johnny or the net.
