Hi AJ, Welcome. You show up now <grin>. I just checked QRZ.com and you really do exist. It says your ticket was effective about six days ago on my XYL's birthday. Congratulations. I wanna know if there are tee shirts or more especially coffee mugs available. 73, Bill KU8H |

Dear Newbie AJ, Name here is Gary and the call is K5QNM.....I live in Gainesville MO and go through Yellville often.....Current projects on the work bench.....80 meter PSK-31 transmitter and 10 watt power amplifier.....8 milliwatts tranceive on 10 GHZ for hilltopping.....There is a nice hilltop just North of Yellville up at the repeater on Tower Road and a 5 mile line of sight path down to just South of Yellville at the old charcoal plant.....3 miles short of qualifying for the 1000 Miles per Watt Award.....I have temporarily stalled out on finishing the designing of 2304 MHZ transceiver, not to mention an 80 meter 5 watt transmitter.....E-mail me and we can swap tall tales.....Gary.....K5QNM. I guess we could investigate the same place that does them for the GORC, unless anyone knows of some other source. Problem is that for small runs they will likely cost more than you want to pay. Anyone want to pursue this or do you want me to see what I can find out?

If it hasn't already been mentioned (I
haven't caught up fully on my e-mail) CafePress can do a lot of
"customized" things on demand with customized graphics on them.
Plus, if I'm not mistaken, a portion of the sales is given back to
the originating organization, so it might be a possible means to
generate a little bit more funds for Ozarkcon!

John, thanks a bunch and all or any i forgot to mention already, i have to put up a resonant ant, gathering stuff for it, i built my last 40 meter over 40yrs ago ! hahaha, i was trying to listen with a ,"Hillbilly Antenna ", i threw up, and could not here the net on 7122 tonight , will try again next thursday morning. I did make out a CW CQ from WA5RES ,from Ok, my first copy on CW in as many years ! I still have to practice my CW ,what a gas though ! This little Argo Ten tec 556 has a good receiver i was surprised in such a small package . Yes i can't wait to start some kits, i got one before i knew about this group the ZM-2 Emtech Tuner, but will order more kits when i finish it soon. I am so glad i got my Ticket again, I was interested in QRP as a teen but did not take advantage in those days. Makes more sense and what a challenge in these Sunspot conditions . Today i did hear some on 40m before dark. 73s ,AJ KF5ZYB |

I do not know if any decision was made on Logo Ts ,Mugs, Hoodies, etc, seen this company mentioned on QRZ-
HamShirts.com they seemed to have decent prices , and a Fellow Ham. 73s, AJ Kf5zyb |

No one took the ball and ran with it. This sounds
pretty good to me, especially if the company offers hats too. They would
probably sell better than anything else. Golf/Polo style shirts with
collars would also be desireable.
If you'd like AJ, check them out as to products,
prices, how to pay, etc and get back to us. I'd be in for a coupla polo
syle shirts, hats, and T shirts. We'd look good in a group picture at
OzarkCon or Brutus. Thanks
much.
Anyone else have a source of club related
"hamwear" (izzat a word?) Bart, how about Pyramid Graphics in
Pittsburg?

I have been thunking about this since it was a thread a few months ago. It kinda went dormant! It would be great if someone would be the volunteer "club wear" cooridinator.
The company that does the NAQACC stuff has really cool hats, and may have other gear? I think all we need to do is contact the company and settle on a LOGO? I am good for a Hat or two and a Polo!
OK guys, who is up for the task ? Thsnks 72 Johnny AC0BQ On Saturday, February 22, 2014, WA0ITP <wa0itp@...> wrote:

Ok, but i am way to new to handle this for the club, even though i plan to be around for awhile. you need whomever is in control of the Logos , i can check on prices , but the ultimate decision is the long powers to be , that's why i brought it up again, for OzarkCon, hope their is enough time . AJ
