Looking for ATS-4 manual
Tom Sevart
Hi all,
I just recently obtained a KD1JV ATS-4 4 band transceiver. It's a neat little rig, however, I have no documentation for it and am trying to figure out how to operate it. It's just got a display and 5 buttons on front. Through trial & error I managed to figure out some of the functions but can't figure out how to quickly tune, use the memories, or how to use the digital modes. I did find a construction manual online but can't find an operating manual. If anyone has a link or a .pdf they can share, I'd appreciate it. Failing that, if you could just share how the buttons work that would be a bonus. -- Tom Sevart N2UHC St. Paul, KS -- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus

Gm Tom Look on the Lnr website. They are the current dealer. I may have some stashed on my computer if this doesn't work. 72 Johnny

Tom, if all else fails, you can try contacting Steve Webber directly for an operation manual.

Here is a pdf for the V5 release which may help you, taken from the KD1JV groups.io files page.

If it's the KD1JV ATS4 A or B, then you could join the AT Sprint Group https://groups.io/g/ATSprint
Or alternatively, I could download the manual on your behalf and fire it across via email. 73, Colin M1BUU

Tom,
You should be able to find the manuals on ATSprint groups.io. There are 2 versions of the "A" manual and 1 of the "B" manual. Off the top of my head I don't remember the differences. Also Steve answers questions from kd1jvdesigns groups.io. 73 - Dave, N4ELM

Thanks everyone, I managed to finally figure out the rest of the controls thanks to the user manual. This is a neat little rig and I'll likely use it as my go-to radio for portable operation. -- Tom Sevart N2UHC St. Paul, KS -- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus

Hello Tom I built the b version back in the days When Webber was selling them direct. Still works great! You got a nice radio. Johnny ACØBQ
