Voice of America Digital Broadcasts

WA0ITP

For our digital practioners:
Below is a note from the Iowa ARRL Afiliated Section Coordinator.

If any of your club members are interested the weekend VOA Radiogram
program has been doing numerous digital transmissions. They are using
the FLDigi software for their transmissions. All you would need to copy
them is either a shortwave receiver, or your HF receiver, the FLDigi
software and a cable from your speaker out on the radio to the mic in on
your computer sound card. They transmit several modes in their 1/2 hour
broadcast, and it is easy to copy in the midwest. For more information
check their website at http://www.voaradiogram.net. All the information
on times and modes of operation are listed.
